Data Protection
Any individual or organisation that collects, stores or processes data about living people on any computer or structured filing system must register with the Data protection Commissioner. Debitask Collection Services Ltd are registered with the Data Protection Commissioner as a Data Controller and Data Processor . Furthermore all directors, staff and Agents are fully trained in all aspects of the Data Protection Legislation.
Consumer Credit Legislation
The consumer Credit Act of 1995 applies to all organisations involved in the credit industry. The legislation is particularly applicable to Debt Recovery Agencies in the context of what is allowable when pursuing repayment of debts. All directors, staff and Agents of DCS Ltd are fully aware of the relevant sections of this legislation.
